I probably can’t remember the last time I posted to the blog 3 days in a row, let alone 31 days. In. A. Row. For the entire month of October I am taking on the fun and exciting challenge of joining some of my favorite bloggers for 31 days of…well, LOTS of stuff! So every day this month I will be posting about…

Life is Crazy Beautiful is broken down into 4 general categories: Living & Learning, Loving & Serving, Cooking & Eating, Decorating & DIY. I don’t know about you, but I have goals for improving, growing or changing in all of these areas of life! You’ve probably heard the question “How do you eat an elephant?” and it’s corresponding answer “One bite at a time!”. That’s how it is with good goals, they should be big enough to be worth the effort and result in a great reward but they need to be accomplished one step at a time. The important thing is to keep moving forward!
So, I hope you’ll join me for this wild ride…one baby step at a time. I’ll be trying new recipes and diy projects, organizing & decorating and hopefully learning and growing in my personal, family & spiritual life, too! Oh, and there WILL be giveaways!! I’d love to hear about progress you are making in achieving your personal goals, so I hope you’ll comment and even leave a link to your blog post which relates to the day’s subject.

I’ll close with some quotes as well as a great song we can use to inspire us in this adventure…
Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.
Benjamin FranklinEvery day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.
Sir Winston ChurchillBe not afraid of going slowly, be afraid only of standing still.
Chinese ProverbMy own experience and development deepen everyday my conviction that our moral progress may be measured by the degree in which we sympathize with individual suffering and individual joy.
George Eliot…and, from the fortune cookie my daughter brought me today after going out for Chinese with her dad…
Use your abilities at this time to stay focused on your goal. You will succeed.
Sounds like a fun series, fellow pastor’s wife! Glad you are joining in the 31 days!

I like this song and yes…it might help me to take the “next step!” (:>) “Get back up and take the next step”…such good advice!
David Jeremiah had a quote in our Bible Study on Grace that said… “the Christian life consists of falling down and getting up, falling down and getting up, falling down and getting up…all the way to heaven! Isn’t that so true!??? Making progress all along the way…(even though we fall sometimes) is possible with God’s help and the help of His Holy Spirit’s work in our lives.
I look forward to these 31 days of Oct., and reading your posts each day!
